The ACT ONE Photos Difference

Planning a wedding can be akin to working a full-time job. The whole process can quickly become an overwhelming, stressful maze of choices. This is further complicated by the fact that many couples have never before planned a wedding and don't even know what questions to ask.

Don't worry, we're here to help!

At ACT ONE Photos, we take the stress and guess out of your wedding photography decisions. We'll guide you through the many important photography considerations and can help you create your timeline, photo list, and overall wedding-day game plan.

Our combination of pre- and post-wedding services will elevate your wedding experience from those offered by other companies (we've had numerous clients and wedding professionals tell us so!). If you're searching for a truly sophisticated wedding photography experience, look no further!

Experienced, Professional Advice

We want to share our knowledge to help make your day run smoothly as possible! Based on your specific needs, we will help you create a wedding-day timeline that allows for all the photos you want. Generally, we recommend an hour for getting-ready photos and request 30 minutes for wedding party photos, and up to an hour for couples' romantics. In addition to your Timeline and Shot List, we can discuss other options.

Adding a First Look to your day, among other benefits, can help streamline your schedule so you can spend more time with your guests!

Adding a second photographer can also help save time. There are no real downsides to having more than one photographer, other than the cost. However, a second photographer isn't really necessary for many weddings.

Venue Walkthrough

Let's meet onsite to decide on your favorite photo locations, develop a weather contingency plan, and work out your timeline. Having a good plan goes a long way to streamline your photo schedule and prep you for your big day. Working through some of the unknowns will help things run smoother avoid some potentially unnecessary wedding-day stress.

If it helps, we can schedule your walkthrough for a time when you'll already be onsite. Doing your walkthrough sooner rather than later will allow us to start building out your timeline early, which can help you piece together the schedule for the rest of your day. Though I don't recommend doing the walkthrough any later than one month before your wedding, that will give us a better idea as to how the lighting may look.

The Venue Walkthrough is especially helpful if I haven't before photographed there before. We're one of the few (or only?) companies in Colorado that include this option in our photography collections!

Your Photos: What and When?

So what about the photos, you ask?

You will receive between 50 - 100+ images per hour of photography coverage. The 50 photos/hour range is more common for small weddings or elopements where there are fewer photo ops. We don't hold back quality images unless they're redundant, so you may receive more than 100/hour.

All images are fully edited for exposure, white balance, color, contrast, saturation, vibrance, color channels, etc. You will receive them in color, black and white, and sepia.

Photo "retouching" is not included, but can be added for an hourly rate.

Files are delivered via online digital gallery. You may download your images and share your gallery for six months. Please be sure to save multiple copies of all your photos and store them in a safe place!

You receive a personal use rights for all your images. You may:

- print your photos
- create albums
- share your photos with friends and family
- share your photos on social media

Your photos will be high-resolution and contain no watermarks or signatures.
You will receive your online gallery within six (6) weeks of your wedding date, provided your photography balance has been paid in full. (The six week turnaround time will be delayed until final payment has been received.)
